I’ve been doing a lot of thinking, more lazy thinking (if that is a thing). You know, when you have so much to do, so much on your plate and you just don’t want to think about it so you think about other things for 5 minutes. Kind of like taking a break.
They’re all good thoughts, mostly about the summer. My undergrad ends April 13, just a few days away. I will start my contract position the following Monday, so I’m not getting much of a break. Not that I’m complaining. I’m actually stoked about this new position, my own cubicle, my own desk, my own desk plant I can grow during the next 4 months I am there for and more origami to build and fill my desk with. I’ll take pictures of them, they’re actually big and some of them are movable!
There’s a lot more to this summer too. I can finally revisit the friendships I had no time for these last few months. I sound rude for saying that but when there is so much responsibilities in life, sometimes its hard to hang out with the ones you really care about even if it’s just for a few hours of a day. I look forward to being able to spend more time with them and rekindling the fun that was absent for the last 8 months.
I look forward to the cottage with my bff JL. Those memories were awesome. Time to make better ones this year.
And of course, last but not least, I can’t wait to give my full attention to this dork I really like. I guess he’s not that dorky but sometimes… the things he says… are quite dork-like. I feel bad that I haven’t been able to really hang out with him because of my busy schedule. He says he understands, but I still feel bad. I’ll make it up starting in 2 weeks.
